Meeting Place Organic Farm Earns Rainbow Registered Accreditation for 2SLGBTQI+ Inclusion
Lucknow, Ontario – Spring 2023

Meeting Place Organic Farm is proud to announce that it has officially become Rainbow Registered, joining a growing network of Canadian businesses committed to providing safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for 2SLGBTQI+ customers and staff.

The Rainbow Registered national accreditation program, managed by Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), recognizes organizations that meet rigorous standards in diversity, equity, and inclusion. This certification signals to visitors, partners, and employees that Meeting Place Organic Farm values and actively supports inclusion in all aspects of its operations.

“We believe that farming and food should connect and nourish everyone,” says Katrina McQuail, owner/operator of Meeting Place Organic Farm. “Becoming Rainbow Registered reflects our long-standing commitment to creating a farm environment that is welcoming, affirming, and respectful of all people—whether they come to buy food, visit the animals, or work alongside us.”

Meeting Place Organic Farm, a certified organic and family-run farm in Huron County, produces grass-fed beef, pastured pork and poultry, maple syrup, and flowers. Known for its community-based approach, environmental stewardship, and educational outreach, the farm continues to lead by example in demonstrating that sustainability also means social inclusion.

The Rainbow Registered designation builds on Meeting Place Organic Farm’s dedication to fostering belonging and representation in rural spaces, and aligns with its broader mission of cultivating healthy soil, healthy food, and healthy communities.
